We use TeamLinkt for schedules, rosters and league communications.

Your team manager will be set up on the SPN website by the league. Once this is done, the team manager will have to set up their players to be added on to their team. SPN waivers MUST be signed before being able to play. This ensures everyone is covered through our insurance.

We will also be asking for written rosters, so we can keep better track of who is playing for what team. As per our league rules, there is a MAXIMUM of 3 “A” division male players per any lower division team. If you have team members playing for more than 1 team, please look over the league rules to ensure they are being followed.

League Fees are due by March 15: $1500 ($100 of this is put toward your team levy)

Your team’s levy is held by the league to pay for things such as fines. If, for some reason, your team has been fined, this levy needs to be topped back up to $100 before you can participate in the year end tournament, or the next season.

We accept cheque payable to Gas City Slow Pitch or e-transfer to gascityslowpitch@gmail.com (please write the team name you gave in your communications with the league, so we know who the money is for)

The season is 13 weeks. We do not play on holiday weeks - these weeks are usually used for make-up games that did not get played due to weather.

League goes from April 26 – August 12

Year End Tournament Dates: A/C August 14-16        B/D/E August 21-23

*year end tournament is for fun and does not go toward your standings.

A Division – Wednesdays

B Division – Mondays

C Division – Tuesdays

D/E Division – Sundays

April 11 10:00am – 1:00pm Umping Clinic @ The Cactus Room (Stampede Grounds) **MANDATORY FOR AT LEAST 1 PERSON FROM EVERY TEAM TO PARTICIPATE, although everyone is welcome! We have an umpire come for the day and go over some rules with everyone and answer any questions people may have. (not having 1 representative will result in a fine of $75 of your team levy)

We will also do mandatory bat testing and hand out team packages after the umping clinic. (Team packages include balls, scorebook and SPN rule book) You can find the acceptable stamps needed on league approved bats, under the heading Bat Testing as well as in our league rules.

**It is MANDATORY for your pitcher to wear a mask. (these can be purchased at Source for Sports)

You may have a total of 20 people on your roster.

Our league plays 6-4. This means you must have a minimum of 4 women on the field for a game.

Our league follows Gas City Slow Pitch rules first, and SPN Rules apply second.
